CINEFORM PowerGrade
Professional DaVinci Resolve node tree for fast, flexible cinematic grading.
CINEFORM PowerGrade is my signature DaVinci Resolve grading workflow, built from the exact node structure I use across my films and commercial work.Unlike a LUT, this PowerGrade gives you full control over every stage of the color process. Exposure, contrast, color balance, skin tones, and the final cinematic look are separated into clean, organized nodes so you can refine your image with precision without breaking the grade. The workflow includes a complete pipeline, from noise cleanup and highlight recovery to color separation, tonal shaping, and my signature CINEFORM look. Each stage is modular, allowing you to adapt the grade to different cameras, lighting conditions, and shooting environments while maintaining maximum image quality.Designed for real-world production, it creates a refined, filmic foundation that stays consistent across travel, documentary, and commercial projects. This is the system I rely on to move quickly in post while maintaining a clean, cinematic result and a consistent professional look across every project.

Clear answers about what’s included, compatibility, installation, and support.
What's included?
Your download includes the CINEFORM PowerGrade .DRX. file for DaVinci Resolve, featuring a complete, professionally organized node tree.
How do I install the CINEFORM PowerGrade?
After downloading the file, open DaVinci Resolve and go to the Color page. In the Gallery panel, right-click and select Import, then choose the CINEFORM PowerGrade file. Once imported, it will appear in your Gallery and can be applied to any clip by right-clicking and selecting Apply Grade.
What software is this compatible with?
CINEFORM PowerGrade is designed for DaVinci Resolve and works with both the Free and Studio versions, making it accessible for beginners and professionals alike.
Does it work with LOG footage?
Yes. The PowerGrade includes Color Space Transform nodes, allowing you to work with both LOG and Rec.709 footage. Simply adjust the input settings in the CST node to match your camera profile for accurate conversion.
Which cameras are supported?
The workflow has been tested across major camera systems including Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, ARRI, and RED. It is built to adapt easily to most modern cameras that shoot LOG or Rec.709.
Can I adjust the look?
Yes. The PowerGrade is fully modular, allowing you to fine-tune exposure, contrast, skin tones, color balance, and the overall look intensity while maintaining image quality and a consistent cinematic result.
Do I need advanced color grading experience?
The node structure is clean, organized, and clearly labeled, making it easy to understand and use even if you’re new to color grading, while still offering the depth and flexibility needed for professional workflows. Each stage of the process is separated logically so you can see exactly how the image is built from technical correction through to the final cinematic look. To help you get the most out of the workflow, the PowerGrade also includes a one-hour step-by-step grading tutorial where I walk you through the entire system, explaining what each node does and how to use it in real-world situations. By the end of the tutorial, you’ll understand not just how to apply the PowerGrade, but how to confidently adjust and shape your image for any project.
Will this slow down my computer?
The workflow is optimized for performance, but certain nodes such as noise reduction, grain, or glow may require more processing depending on your system. These adjustments can be easily turned off if needed.
Can I use this for commercial work?
Yes. CINEFORM PowerGrade is built for professional use and is suitable for commercial projects, client work, branded content, social media, travel, and documentary production.
Is this a LUT?
No. This is a full PowerGrade workflow rather than a LUT, giving you far greater control and flexibility while preserving maximum image quality throughout your grading process.
